Two ways we use PRP

PRP for the face

Dermapen PRP Face combines microneedling with your own plasma, applied into the freshly created micro-channels. Often called the “Vampire Facial”. Commonly chosen for tired-looking skin and texture.

PRP for hair

Your plasma is delivered into the scalp. Commonly chosen by people concerned about thinning hair, usually as a course. Because hair loss can have a medical cause, a dermatologist review is available at the same clinic.

Common questions

What is PRP?

PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. A small sample of your own blood is spun to concentrate the platelets, and the plasma is then applied to the skin or scalp.

How much does it cost?

Dermapen PRP Face is AED 249 per session, or AED 599 for three. Hair PRP is AED 299 per session, or AED 749 for three. Hair PRP with Biotin Boost is AED 499 per session, or AED 1,299 for three. Prices exclude 5% VAT, and a complimentary assessment is included.

How many sessions will I need?

PRP is usually done as a course of three, spaced about four weeks apart. Your assessment will set out a plan for you.

Does it hurt?

The blood draw feels like a routine test, and numbing is used where needed. Most people find the treatment tolerable.

Is there downtime?

Mild redness or tenderness may last a day or so. Most people return to normal activity quickly.

Is PRP right for my hair loss?

That depends on the cause. Because hair loss can have a medical cause, our dermatologist can review you at the same clinic to confirm the right approach before any treatment.
