Biography
Dr Nivedita Nair is a General Practitioner at Central Clinic Abu Dhabi, providing family medicine, preventive health checks and everyday medical care for patients of all ages.
She holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Privolzhsky Research Medical University in the Russian Federation and is a GMC-registered doctor, having completed both PLAB 1 and PLAB 2.
Dr Nivedita trained across a broad range of specialties during her medical internship at NMC Royal Hospital, Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi — rotating through surgery, emergency medicine, internal medicine, paediatrics, and obstetrics and gynaecology. She has since completed clinical attachments in obstetrics and gynaecology within the UK’s National Health Service, at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth and Harrogate District Hospital.
Her clinical training includes Advanced Life Support (Resuscitation Council UK), Basic Life Support (American Heart Association), and ultrasound training through the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi. She is a published author in peer-reviewed medical journals, with research appearing in Medicine and Cureus.
Dr Nivedita is a graduate of Abu Dhabi Indian School and speaks English, Hindi and Malayalam fluently.
